ALO 184 and 177
In 2012, we launched the first 184 setting machine, now 10 years later, 50 units are sold all over the world.
The idea of a new development of 184 was to make a more operator friendly machines. It reached great popularity very fast amongst our customers and a new standard was set, with highest quality outcome and production speed combined with easy handling.
Now, 10 years later, we are selling in round numbers five machines per year and the popularity of the machine is just growing. Four new machines on order in June and more in the pipeline.
The second machine we developed, with the same idea of making the work easier for the operators, was the 177 cut-to-length-machine.
We have now sold 100 machines, and this is one of our most popular machines.
The very first 177 has a story of its own, it was purchased by a German company but was initially shipped to a sister company in India. The machine ended somehow up in Germany after all and has been at the customer, in full production, since 2014. Today this machine has brothers in the same facility plus a great number of machines spread out between sister companies
The 177 and 184 are today two solid standard machines and we are now focusing on making service plans for our customers that will keep the machines in full production for many years.
