Cut to length machine for band saw blades

ALO´s cut to length machine is designed with the an unique and innovative tooth matching system called “match finder”. Never before has it been so easy to prepare bandsaw blades for welding thanks to our latest ALO 177 cut to length machine.

The design makes it so easy to perform a setup, simply load a current blade into the machine, activate the match finder feature, toggle matching preference on the screen and save.

There is no need to manually adjust tooth detector in any axis. Simply enter the size from a tooth where the finished weld will be placed and then prepare the bandsaw blade for welding with weld burn compensation for perfect tooth and pattern matching. The process is fully automatic and can repeat the same setting time after time with excellent results. Just choose length, bandwidth and how many blades you need to cut and go!

MF+ (Match Finder Plus) is an option that allows you to complete an intact loopwith several shorter pieces that you weld together. This minimises the waste of bandsaw blades. This helps you save material when either the coil reaches the end or if a band failure is detected.

ALO 177 is now upgraded to Mk.III with:

  • A redesign feed unit to minimize camber issues and an overall improved band feed.
  • A capping unit with a new motorized feed wheel, which helps secure the strap to the band, and an optical sensor to detect any difficulties (option).
  • A new “Easy Change Load System” for capping, allows loading of up to six different plastic straps, making the change of the strap easy and smooth (option).
  • Better and faster troubleshooting can be done thanks to Profinet-based push buttons and signalling devices.

With this machine, ALO changes the way bandsaw blades are cut to the right length, ALO 177 cuts your blades faster, more consistently and with higher accuracy than ever before.
